Overarching Goals of Integrity Partners for Behavioral Health IPA, Inc.

  • Increase efficiencies

    As part of the formative evaluation plan in this initiative, service providers will meet quarterly to discuss treatment adherence, any issues made apparent during the delivery of services, and improvements made to the process. These meetings will allow providers to implement trainings in the schools more efficiently, as they will have the tools needed to avoid any limitations.

     

  • Expand access, coordinate, and improve the quality of essential health care services

    IPBH will support collaborative partnerships between behavioral health providers and primary care practitioners. These partnerships will encourage effective referral processes, co-location of providers and better communication which will help break down barriers to accessing mental health and substance use services in the rural areas. This initiative will allow primary care practitioners to provide a more holistic approach to care by including access to behavioral health services to patients.

     

  • Engage in world class partnerships

    Integrity Partners will partner with the University at Buffalo School of Social Work and Biostatistics Department as well as Washington University at St. Louis School of Social work, engaging national leaders in mental health, medication assisted treatment, and biostatistics in identifying, integrating, and implementing evidence-based treatment strategies.

     

  • Strengthen the rural healthcare system as a whole

    When fully implemented, this model can be replicated across the state and nationally to help educate the rural population about mental health and substance use disorders and treatment, reduce stigma related to these topics, and increase access to behavioral healthcare services.
